Vela Health is the GUIDE Program participant tendercare partners with. Lifetime Redesign OT operates the program under the name Vela Health, and they hold the CMS agreement that makes GUIDE available to enrolled families.
Who does what
Vela Health holds the agreement with Medicare. tendercare handles the day-to-day: eligibility screening, enrollment, care navigation, caregiver support, and respite coordination.
Your tendercare Guide is your point of contact throughout. That doesn't change.
Why their name is on your paperwork
You may see Vela Health or Lifetime Redesign OT on enrollment and consent forms, because that's the organization enrolling your loved one in the program.
If anything in the paperwork isn't clear, message your tendercare Guide and they'll walk you through it.
