A vault is your loved one's personal profile in tendercare, a secure home for their important information. Here's how to create one.

Step 1: Open the app or log in on the web

If you haven't already, create your account first. Then log in to the app or at trytendercare.com.

Step 2: Create a new vault

Tap + Add Loved One or Create Vault from your home screen.
Enter your loved one's name and their relationship to you.
Add a photo (optional, but it makes everything more personal).

Step 3: Add their key information

Start with the most important details. You can always add more later:

Medical information: conditions, allergies, and current medications. Use Autofill from Image to capture medications quickly.
Emergency contacts: who should be called in an emergency
Important documents: insurance cards, Medicare information, legal documents

Step 4: Customize their tenderID

Once you've added medical info and emergency contacts, tendercare will prompt you to set up a tenderID, a free physical card and fridge decal that gives first responders instant access to the most critical information. See What is the tenderID? for details.
