Welcome to tendercare. Here's a simple checklist to help you get the most out of the app quickly.
✅ In the first 10 minutes
1. Create your account.
Sign up at trytendercare.com or on the app. It only takes a minute.
2. Create a vault for your loved one.
Tap Add Loved One and enter their name. This is their personal space in tendercare.
3. Add medications and allergies.
This is the most important information to have on hand, and it's what powers the tenderID. Use Autofill from Image to capture medications from prescription or over-the-counter packaging.
4. Connect Medicare (optional).
If your loved one is enrolled in Medicare, link their account in the app to import their medications, conditions, and doctors. (Available in the apps, not the web dashboard.)
Open the tendercare app.
Find the "Import health info from Medicare to quickly fill the Vault" card on your home screen.
Tap the arrow on the card to begin.
Follow the on-screen instructions to connect.

5. Add 1–2 emergency contacts.
Who should be called if something happens? Add them now.
6. Order your free tenderID.
You can order your free tenderID at any time. Go to trytendercare.com/tenderID, use the link inside the app, or scan an existing kit to activate it. See How to get your free tenderID for more.

Upload 1–2 important documents (insurance card, Medicare card, a recent medical summary) to get a feel for your Vault.
Invite a sibling or family member so they're in the loop.
Explore your tendercare Plan to get guidance specific to your loved one's situation.
✅ Ongoing
Keep medications and allergies updated as things change.
Use Daily Check-Ins to track how your loved one is doing.
Check Reminders regularly so nothing slips through the cracks.
