tenderID for multiple family members

How to set up tenderIDs for multiple loved ones, each with their own vault and QR codes.

You can have a tenderID for every member of your family who might benefit from one, each with their own personalized information.

How to get tenderIDs for multiple people

Each tenderID is tied to a specific vault (a specific person's profile in tendercare). To set up tenderIDs for multiple family members:

  1. Create a separate vault for each person. Go to your home screen and tap + Add Loved One for each person.

  2. Add each person's medical information, allergies, and emergency contacts.

  3. Request a tenderID kit for each vault individually.

Each person will have their own unique QR codes that link to their own information.

Can my parent have their own account?

Your loved one can have their own tendercare account and manage their own vault. Or you can manage their vault on their behalf, whichever works better for your family.

My parent got a tenderID before I started managing their account

If your loved one already has a tenderID but you're now helping manage their care in tendercare, you can take over management of their vault by having them invite you as a shared member, or by contacting support to help coordinate the transition.

Adding a parent to your account vs. their having their own

  • Adding to your account. You manage all their information. Good if your parent isn't tech-savvy or doesn't want to manage their own account.

  • Separate account. Your parent controls their own vault. You can still be a shared member to stay informed.

Either way works. The tenderID functions the same.
