The Medicare GUIDE Program — short for Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience — is a Medicare program designed to support families caring for a loved one with dementia. It provides care coordination, caregiver education, community resources, and up to $2,625 per year in respite funding.

Is there any cost to participate?
No. The GUIDE Program is free for eligible Medicare beneficiaries and their families. There's no premium, no co-pay, and no out-of-pocket cost. The $2,625 in annual respite funding is in addition to your regular Medicare benefits.
