Troubleshooting the app

Fixes for app crashes, login problems, upload failures, and missing notifications.

App not behaving? Here are fixes for the most common issues.

The app won't load or keeps crashing

  1. Force close and reopen the app.

  2. Check for updates. Open the App Store or Google Play and update tendercare if an update is available.

  3. Restart your phone.

  4. Reinstall the app. Delete it and download it fresh. Your data is stored securely in the cloud, so nothing is lost.

I can't log in

  • Double-check your email address for typos.

  • Use Forgot password to reset your password if needed. See How do I reset my password?

  • If you signed up with Google or Apple ID, use that same sign-in method instead of email/password.

Photos or documents won't upload

  • Check your internet connection. Large files need a stable connection.

  • Make sure tendercare has permission to access your camera and photos (check your phone's app permission settings).

  • Try a smaller file or a different photo.

I'm not getting notifications

  • Check that notifications are enabled for tendercare in your phone's settings.

  • In the app, check your notification preferences under account settings.

  • Make sure Do Not Disturb or Focus mode isn't silencing the app.

Something looks broken or out of date

  • Make sure you're on the latest version of the app.

  • Log out and log back in.

  • If using the web, clear your browser cache or try another browser.
